I’ve been getting bombed by a 40 hour work week / Best friend’s wedding this weekend.
Haven’t gotten a lot done on the computer…I need to scan my sketchbook sometime.
Here’s some progress on the current Artorder.blogspot.com challenge – “Gotta Have a Hook”
I briefly started to get some idea about lighting…this will get fiddled with more tomorrow since it looks like dook atm.
I got to work on the glowman sketch and think I’m pretty much done with it. I learned from it, so it served its purpose.
And…a small update on the astro bird-man? Not sure what he/it is.
First, some progress on the “Glow Man”… I’m still working on getting the kind of blends and such that I’d like these digital paintings to have.
Anyhow, the second piece is a sketch I started and worked for about 30 – 40 min.
Last but not least, 2 sketches from my Moleskin (2nd one is not finished) for Ben’s web comic.
Just continued to work on the digital portrait today and sketched a bit in my moleskin.
I’ll have to scan those sometime…
Anyway, here’s the beginning of adding color, I already see the contrast needs to be pushed.
I have finally acquired my new computer and got PS running on it.
It’s nice to have a big screen and a pc that doesn’t lag.
Anyhow here are some sketches I started today.

Just “finished” these up today, time to move on. 1 – 3hrs seems normal for one.
I’ve got some sketches to scan from my sketchbook, but it’ll be coming tomorrow…for now it is time to go to work.
